Overview

The TCC Foundation is legally based in the Netherlands, and its board of seven trustees is distributed among the operational hubs of the TCC group. The Head of the Foundation will report to the chairman and founder of the TCC business. The ideal candidate should be a self‑starter, have experience in charity governance, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be ready to take a hands‑on approach while also being comfortable with travel and networking.

Responsibilities
Grant Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with renowned and grassroots charity partners.
  • Lead the grant‑making process, including assessing proposals, conducting due diligence and making funding recommendations.
  • Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of grant programs to assess impact and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with grantees to enhance project success and foster positive partnerships.
  • Attend charity meeting and events to stay up to date with current affairs and project progress.
Staff Engagement and Events (40%)
  • Encourage colleagues to make the most of and create initiatives that align with TCC's volunteering and match funding policy.
  • Lead on TCC's annual global‑volunteering day, TCC Gives Back, by sourcing volunteering opportunities and creating sign‑up pages, communicating activities and impact.
  • Lead on monthly calls and support the Charity Champions Network, our global team who creates volunteering, fundraising and engagement activities in all TCC offices (while attending as many as possible).
  • Manage our staff engagement platform with our third‑party partner, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and that staff members are utilising the platform to donate and input their volunteering hours.
  • Induct all new staff members to TCC Foundation.
  • Recognise our colleagues who have a big anniversary with TCC with a Long Service Award.
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (20%)
  • Produce internal communications through our quarterly e‑newsletter and internal communications channel as well as external communications on Instagram and on our TCC Foundation website.
  • Create a yearly annual report to highlight our impact through charity partners and activities led by TCC colleagues.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, Board Members, Charity Champions, other donors, and the wider community, to enhance the Foundation's visibility and support.
Board Management (10%)
  • Create an agenda for each quarterly Board Meeting, prepare regular reports on the Foundation's operational performance, impact and outcomes for the Board of Trustees and relevant stakeholders and update the Risk Register on a quarterly basis.
  • Lead on the recruitment of a new TCC Foundation Board joining in August 2026.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years working in this field (across charity sector, CSR, ESG or philanthropy).
  • Experience fundraising and creating communications for different audiences.
  • Ability to work independently as a self‑starter (as it's a team of 1).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Experience working with or managing a Board of Trustees is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Benevity or other CSR platforms is a plus.
Additional Information

The position will be based in Hayes, located just outside London, on the Elizabeth line, with a flexible work schedule of 3 days in the office and the possibility of part‑time arrangements.
