• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.

• Prior experience managing distributed teams.

The Head of Engineering will own both the technical direction and team development — combining strategic oversight with hands‑on impact. You’ll shape engineering culture, delivery practices, and future scaling, while still staying close to the code.

The Head of Engineering will…

• Lead and grow a 6‑person onshore/offshore engineering team
• Set technical strategy and evolve a scalable, secure architecture.
• Familia with Typescript, JavaScript & React full stack engineering environments.
• Drive delivery quality with improvements across CI/CD, DevOps, testing and reviews
• Partner with the CEO and Product to align tech with commercial goals
• Remain hands‑on with code, unblock challenges, and maintain high standards

You will need…

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities
• Hands‑on experience in modern backend environments (e.g., cloud‑native APIs) with AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Prior experience managing distributed teams
• Strength in architecture, system design and scaling strategies
• Excellent communication: you'll be working closely with execs and stakeholders
