Head of Data / Head of Data Strategy

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Head of Data / Head of Data Strategy to join our London based global Law firm client on a permanent basis.

Summary

As the Head of Data / Head of Data Strategy, you will develop and lead the firm's data strategy including the data platform modernisation, data product development and contributing to development of AI road maps.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and delivering a modern, cloud-based data architecture that aligns with business goals, drives value, and supports analytics and AI innovation.
• Oversee data platforms and products, ensuring a single, trusted source of truth for reporting and developing insightful tools such as dashboards, KPIs, and client analytics.
• Establish and lead data governance frameworks, including ownership, policies, data quality, compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001) and lifecycle management to reduce risk and enhance data integrity.
• Collaborating across departments, influencing senior stakeholders, and promoting data literacy to enable smarter, insight‑led decision‑making.
