Job summary

A dynamic financial services firm is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to manage the compliance framework. This fully remote role requires 3-5 years in a similar position and a strong understanding of FCA regulations. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance oversight, policy development, and compliance monitoring. The candidate should have excellent analytical and communication skills. Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in a compliance role in financial services, preferably mortgage broking.
  • Strong working knowledge of FCA regulations like MCOB and Consumer Duty.
  • Experience in mortgage file reviews and compliance monitoring.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a dynamic, FCA-Regulated Mortgage Broker. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Compliance to join their team and take ownership of the compliance framework.

  • Financial Crime Compliance
  • Management Information & Reporting
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a compliance role within financial services, preferably in mortgage broking or mortgage advice
  • Strong working knowledge of FCA regulations, particularly MCOB, Consumer Duty, SYSC, and DISP
  • Proven experience conducting mortgage file reviews and compliance monitoring
  • Understanding of mortgage products, advice processes, and suitability assessments
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions
  • Strong written communication skills for producing clear, professional compliance reports and guidance
