The Role

As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's Design & Build growth strategy. This senior leadership role requires a blend of strategic vision, commercial acumen, and hands‑on business development expertise. You will lead client acquisition, nurture long‑term relationships, and identify new opportunities to expand the company's portfolio of high‑profile projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across design & build and refurbishment markets.
  • Lead client pitching, presentations, and negotiations to win major contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with directors, estimators, and project teams to ensure proposals are commercially sound and deliverable.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the business development team.
