Job summary

A global non-profit EdTech organization is seeking a Head of Architecture to lead the development of a roadmap for architecture change and ensure that modern technologies are integrated. The ideal candidate should have experience leading teams and working with senior management to facilitate transformational change. This position offers a competitive salary of £100k to £125k and a flexible UK remote working arrangement. It's a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

  • Experience of leading teams of enterprise and solution architects.
  • Experience of working with senior colleagues to deliver transformational change.
  • Strong background of leading the development of strategic architecture and plans.

Come and join a global non for profit EdTech organisation as a Head of Architecture. Help transform the architecture team and the future of the entire IT function.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead the development of a roadmap for architecture change
  • Ensure that the right tools, methods and skills are in place for the architecture function
  • Ensure architecture future proofs the organisation by enabling the introduction of new technologies as they emerge
  • Work with senior stakeholders on the strategic IT requirements for the department
  • Act as a technology evangelist and advocate for IT across the organisation
What you’ll need:
  • Experience of leading teams of enterprise and solution architects
  • Experience of working with senior colleagues to deliver transformational change
  • Strong background of leading the development of strategic architecture and plans
  • Knowledge of modern technologies and methods such as D365, DevOps, FinOps, SecOps, Cloud, AI etc
  • Stakeholder management and reporting up to senior executive and board level
