Job summary

Sofitel London-Heathrow, a 5-star luxury hotel, is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead and develop the housekeeping team toward the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will be responsible for staffing, budgets, safety compliance, and maintaining brand quality across all areas, while delivering exceptional service in a world-class environment connected to Heathrow Terminal 5.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a similar position within a 5-star hotel.
• Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in conducting departmental and Health and Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the housekeeping team maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Be a hands-on and visible leader to the team, motivating them with your passion for hospitality and desire to improve.
• Guide the Housekeeping team to ensure brand standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
• Manage staffing levels to cover business demands.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Address any guest concerns promptly, attentively and efficiently.
• Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards while continually looking to improve.

The Head Housekeeper in our luxurious hotel oversee's housekeeping operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout, creating a welcoming and immaculate environment that consistently exceeds guests' expectations.

• Ensure the housekeeping team maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Be a hands-on and visible leader to the team, motivating them with your passion for hospitality and desire to improve.
• Guide the Housekeeping team to ensure company brand standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
• Support departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures.
