Belmont Recruitment is on the lookout for a motivated and adaptable Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join a leading Substance Misuse Addiction Recovery Service in Bradford. If you're passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives, this one’s for you!

Hourly Rate: £15 | Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri (37.5 hours) | Contract: 6+ months

Responsibilities

• Assisting the clinical team with healthcare assessments and treatments
• Supporting harm reduction efforts (offering advice and info on substance misuse)
• Helping with detoxification and general health assessments
• Monitoring and facilitating community detox programs
• Handling BBV screenings and immunisations
• Referring service users to other services based on their health and well-being needs

What you’ll need

Ideally, you’ll be confident with venepuncture, observations, ECGs, and health promotion. While BLS (Basic Life Support) training is a plus, it’s not essential. We can help you get up to speed if needed!
