Job summary

JD Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a Duty Manager to help run the club day-to-day and support a safe, welcoming member experience. You will work with the management team to balance operational excellence with member satisfaction during every visit.

Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in leisure or hospitality, a strong service mindset, and a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. This role is full-time and based in the club, with flexible hours to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting teams in leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused settings.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service.
• Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or higher.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day club operations, including opening/closing duties.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct safety checks and report defects.
• Support achievement of membership, revenue and commercial objectives.
• Identify opportunities to grow secondary revenue streams.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across the club.
• Support staff to deliver outstanding member service.
• Represent JD Gyms values in all interactions.
