Job summary

JD Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a Duty Manager to support daily club operations and ensure a safe, welcoming member experience. You will work with the management team to hit membership and commercial targets while maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, and a strong focus on service excellence, coaching colleagues and upholding JD Gyms Brand Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting colleagues within a leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused environment.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering excellent member service and has the ability to support, coach and develop colleagues.
• Must be qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor
• Experience contributing to membership growth, commercial performance, local marketing initiatives and team development.
• Experience supporting operational delivery, people leadership and commercial performance within a leisure or customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operational running of the club.
• Open and close duties as required.
• Support the achievement of membership, revenue and commercial objectives.
• Ensure gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Represent JD Gyms values and standards in all interactions with members and colleagues.
