Job summary

JD Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a Duty Manager to support daily club operations and ensure a safe, welcoming member experience. You will work with the management team to meet membership and commercial goals while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, safety checks, and coaching colleagues to deliver outstanding service. A Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is required, with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting colleagues within a leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused environment.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering excellent member service.
• Must be qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor
• Experience contributing to membership growth, commercial performance or local marketing initiatives.
• Experience supporting operational delivery, people leadership and commercial performance in leisure or customer-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational running of the club, including opening and closing duties.
• Flexible work hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Ensure JD Gyms Brand Standards are maintained and safety checks are conducted.
• Support membership, revenue and commercial objectives and help grow secondary revenue streams.
