Dakota Hotels in Scotland is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, take reservations, and perform light housekeeping. You will handle guest billing and support multiple departments to ensure exceptional service.

We value a genuine people person with strong administrative skills, capable of thriving in a busy 4/5-star hotel environment and flexible shifts. Training on our systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• At least two years in hospitality, preferably hotels.
• Strong administrative abilities with ability to prioritise and work at pace.
• Experience in 4* and 5* hotels preferred.
• Excellent communicator and genuine people person.
• Flexible with shifts and able to be present during peak times.
• Fully computer literate; knowledge of a property management system desirable.
• Promote a positive culture and high attention to detail.
• Be task oriented with pride in work and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle reception duties: greet guests, check in/out, take reservations, light housekeeping, and guest billing.
• Provide a consistently high level of guest service in line with our principles and values.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Front Office computer systems.
• Work closely with all departments and assist as required to ensure smooth operations.
• Offer services to enhance the guest experience, such as restaurant bookings and directions.
