Premier Inn in Durham City Centre is looking for a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, help with check-in, and assist with breakfast or dinner to ensure a smooth stay.

Shifts are varied; you may greet guests, answer questions, recommend local spots, or help resolve issues. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest care, and keeping the hotel running smoothly, with no prior hotel experience required.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required.
• Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
• If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure
