Job summary

The Glasgow Hotel, part of LGH Hotels Management, seeks a proactive front desk supervisor to lead a busy reception team and deliver exceptional guest service. You will manage check-ins, guest inquiries, and collaborate with departments to ensure smooth operations in a vibrant Glasgow city centre hotel.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months of supervisory experience, strong IT skills, and familiarity with Opera, Delphi and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy hotel front desk environment is preferred.
• At least 12 months of supervisory experience is required.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office and financial systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using Opera, Delphi and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support front desk team to ensure a high standard of guest service.
• Handle guest check-ins/check-outs professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor room availability, reservations, and guest requests to optimise occupancy.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to deliver consistent hospitality experiences.
