National Trust is seeking a Welcome Manager at Newark Park to lead our small but vital welcome team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the welcome area. You’ll inspire staff and volunteers to provide outstanding service and help grow charitable income, while acting as a duty manager for safety and guest experience.
The role requires weekend and bank holiday work, and a commitment to our values and safeguarding policies. Excellent people skills are essential.
Qualifikationen
- Experience in visitor services, tourism, heritage or similar situations.
- Naturally curious about people, and motivated to give the highest standards of service.
- Highly organized.
- Adept at managing financial performance.
- Up for a challenge, adaptable and responsive under pressure.
Aufgaben
- Lead and manage the welcome and service team and volunteers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the welcome area.
- Inspire and care for the team to deliver the highest standards of service and help grow charitable income.
- Lead from the front using good judgement in line with National Trust guidelines, values and policies.
- Act as duty manager for the site, covering safeguarding, cash and tills, fire, security and evacuation.
