Village Hotels is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Host to be the vibrant face of the hotel. Guests use self-check-in terminals, so you’ll be on the floor, welcoming guests and solving problems before they escalate.

If you’re energetic, approachable, and enjoy chatting with people, you’ll receive full support and training to grow in hospitality. A positive, can-do attitude is more important than CV length.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience is appreciated, but attitude and energy matter more.
• Excellent communication and the ability to diffuse situations with empathy.
• Willingness to upsell Food & Beverage, meetings and events when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Own the welcome and guide guests to the self-check-in terminals with a warm, host-like presence.
• Turn guest issues into positive outcomes on the spot, using emotional intelligence.
• Upsell Food & Beverage, meetings and events to enhance guest experience.
• Keep front-of-house areas tidy, manage cash handling securely, and stay informed on hotel activity.
