Job summary

Kew Green Hotels, owner/operator of Holiday Inn Rugby - Northampton, invites applications for a Guest Service Assistant role. You’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, training across reception, restaurant, bar and events, and you’ll help welcome guests and support service across all guest-facing areas.

You’ll deliver friendly, proactive service, check-in/out, food and beverage service, conference setups and banqueting.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for people and hospitality. Experience is great, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a team.
• A proactive approach. (You notice what needs to be done and make it happen!)
• Comfortable using technology, including MS Office and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service across reception, restaurant, bar, meetings and events.
• Support with tasks including check in/out, food and drink service, conference set-ups, and banqueting.
• Build genuine relationships with guests, adapting your approach to each individual.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all guest areas.
• Help the hotel meet brand standards and company goals by delivering outstanding service every shift.
• Represent our values and culture, keeping guest experience at the centre of everything you do.
