Job summary

Kew Green Hotels in Leicester is seeking a Guest Service Assistant to welcome guests across reception, the restaurant, bar, and events. You’ll receive full training to work in all guest-facing areas, starting a career in hospitality.

This role reports to the Guest Service Manager and focuses on delivering outstanding service, building guest relationships, and upholding brand standards in a busy hotel environment. Full-time on-site role with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for people and hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work as part of a team.
• A proactive approach. (You notice what needs to be done and make it happen!)
• Comfortable using technology, including MS Office and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service across reception, restaurant, bar, meetings and events.
• Support with tasks including check in/out, food and drink service, conference set-ups, and banqueting.
• Build genuine relationships with guests, adapting your approach to each individual.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all guest areas.
• Help the hotel meet brand standards and company goals by delivering outstanding service every shift.
• Represent our values and culture, keeping guest experience at the centre of everything you do.
