Group Tax Manager
Bridge Carbon LLC is a London-based international carbon project developer committed to building a world-class carbon finance organization that defines the standards for quality, integrity, and transparency across the voluntary carbon markets. The Role: is responsible for developing and implementing global tax strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and improving tax processes. The role collaborates with internal teams and external partners (auditors, banks, advisors, tax authorities). The role also involves analyzing complex transactions, advising senior management, and managing international tax advisors to support Bridge Carbon's growth and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisory on new business and transactions: Provide practical tax guidance on new ventures, restructurings, and cross-border transactions, ensuring decisions are compliant, commercially sound, and tax‑efficient.
- Tax risk management & strategy: Work with executives and operational leaders to define a clear tax strategy and build an efficient, low‑risk tax structure across all jurisdictions.
- International statutory reporting and exchange controls: Maintain strong knowledge of global reporting requirements and foreign exchange rules, ensuring compliance and anticipating impacts on financial and tax processes.
- International tax structures and transfer pricing: Design, implement, and maintain the group's international tax and transfer pricing framework, including documentation, intercompany policies, and benchmarking.
- Corporate and income tax compliance: Oversee tax return preparation and filings, coordinating internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely submissions aligned with local and international rules.
- Indirect taxes (VAT/customs duties): Manage VAT/GST and customs obligations by ensuring proper data capture, classification, and timely filing through effective coordination of relevant teams and advisors.
- Stakeholder and authority relationship management: Maintain constructive relationships with tax authorities, regulators, and advisors to support smooth communication, timely issue resolution, and proactive compliance.
- Documentation, audits, reporting and governance: Ensure robust tax documentation, manage audit processes, and strengthen internal controls and reporting frameworks to uphold strong tax governance.
Tax Representation and Communications
- Act as the key contact point with internal and external stakeholders ensuring relevant updates and feedback on country policy and regulatory developments. Define the expectations and standards required for tax compliance across multiple regions.
Qualifications and experience required
- University level degree in Accounting, Finance or relates field. Master's degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics and / or additional qualifications such as a specialized degree in Taxation or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Advisor.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in tax advisory in top-tier advisory firms, and in-house experience in international corporate environments.
- Significant exposure to complex international tax frameworks.
- Experience in the carbon markets/ renewable energies industry is a plus.
- Experience of tax compliance in multiple regions, to include EU, USA and Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia.

Location and Travel: London UK - hybrid role with 1-2 on average days in office likely needed, some scope for limited travel.
