A leading financial solutions company in Crewe is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to oversee financial reporting and intercompany reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of finance experience and be either studying for or qualified as an ACA professional. Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting, the Group Reporting Accountant, will be responsible for:

• Production and review of quality monthly financial reporting packs, including full P&L, detailed balance sheet reconciliations and statement of cash flows in accordance with the Radius Group timetable.
• Lead the group-wide intercompany reconciliation and settlement processes for loans, loan interest and trading balances.
• Ensure the Groups\' intercompany loans all comply with the relevant agreements and produce the interest calculation to a high degree of accuracy.
• Support the Group Reporting Manager with the production of the Group consolidation under IFRS through the production of reconciliations and detailed workings to validate the Group financials.
• Take ownership of entities within the Group Holding stack. Produce monthly management accounts and provide high quality commentary and variance analysis to the financials.
• Assist with audits, corporate tax returns and statutory submissions
• Challenge the existing reporting and controls providing proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
• Support in business improvement projects, as directed and as identified, autonomously.

Support the growth and capability of trainee accountants within the team, fostering consistent excellence and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years\' experience of working in a Finance related role
• Studying towards or qualified ACA professional
• Technical accounting skills
• Advanced Excel skills - including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up
• Experience of fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
• Experience of using Sage X3 accounting systems and/or financial consolidation systems would be desirable
