Overview

Axon Moore recruiting an Interim Group Financial Accountant. This is an urgent requirement for an experienced and qualified Financial Accountant to join a UK based industry leader, who have ambitious growth plans. Circa 3 to 6 month contract (potential to be extended) based on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre (hybrid working).

Responsibilities

• Provision of accurate and timely financial information.
• Ownership of year-end external audit process and production of statutory accounts.
• Oversight of all financial controls.
• VAT, payroll taxes, pension and compliance with statutory reporting and taxes.
• Budgeting, forecasting
• Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships

Person Specification / Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of three years post qualified experience
• Ideally practice trained (advantageous not a deal breaker)
• Experience with Statutory Accounts / Tax
• Independent worker, self-driven, entrepreneurial approach
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and meaningful presentation of data
• Positive attitude, deals with challenge and change
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
