Duties
- To deliver a high-quality and compliant Student Records and Examinations service across the SHCG Group, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all data and assessment processes.
- To co-ordinate the end-to-end administration of student records and examinations, from enrolment through to certification, working collaboratively with curriculum and support teams.
- To ensure all enrolment, examination, and assessment activities meet internal policy requirements and external awarding body standards.
- To maintain robust data governance and compliance practices, ensuring all student and assessment data are accurate, auditable, and securely managed.
- To lead the continuous improvement of student records and examinations systems, enhancing the overall student and staff experience across the Group.
- To lead and supervise the Examinations and Data team, including the Senior Exams Officer and Examinations and Data Officers, ensuring effective allocation of workload and high quality service delivery.
Skills / Experience
- Experience of working with a complex database and systems, providing accurate data entry and complex data solutions.
- Can demonstrate the ability to research and examine complex policies, rules and regulations, including modelling statistical information and producing graphical representation.
- Experience of management information systems within an FE environment.
- Experience of meeting deadlines.
- Experience of working across functions within the MIS, Enrolment and Examinations functions or similar.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above (IT is desirable).
- 2-3 A Level passes.
- Degree / equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
