Overview
A global, fast-growing multisite business is seeking a technically strong Group Accountant to support consolidated reporting, audit, and finance transformation across its international operations. This is a hands-on role within a small, high-performing team, offering visibility to the Group CFO and CEO and exposure to all aspects of Group Finance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quarterly consolidated financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
- Support the annual statutory Group audit and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in rolling out the global consolidation system (Tagetik)
- Review monthly reporting packs across international entities (FRS102)
- Manage Group recharge overhead spend and report against budget
- Support Treasury and Business Partnering teams with variance resolution
- Improve intercompany reconciliation, reporting, and settlement processes
- Contribute to global finance transformation and ad hoc projects
- Liaise regularly with Group CFO, Regional Directors, and Executive team
Profile
The successful candidate for this Group Accountant position will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with:
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Proven experience in global monthly consolidation and intercompany processes
- Strong Excel and IT skills; ERP/reporting system exposure preferred
- Working knowledge of IFRS/FRS102
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Organised, detail-oriented, and naturally inquisitive
- Willing to work 4-5 dpw from the office in North West Kent
Job Offer
- Base Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
- Full-time, office-based role in North West Kent (4-5dpw on site)
