Groundcare / Agricultural Service Engineer
Location: Shefford
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000

The Role
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of groundscare and agricultural equipment—including compact tractors, UTVs, ATVs, and grass care machinery
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to manufacturer standards
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
- Supporting customers with machinery installations and demonstrations
- Working closely with service and workshop managers to meet deadlines
- Travelling to customer sites in the surrounding area for field-based service work (full driving licence required)
What I’m Looking For
- Qualified to Level 3 in Land-Based Engineering (or equivalent in HGV, Plant, or Construction)
- Experienced with groundscare and/or agricultural equipment
- A strong communicator, able to work with both customers and colleagues effectively
- Willing to undertake ongoing training, including specialist manufacturer training
- Reliable under pressure and capable of working to deadlines in variable conditions
- Flexible to work overtime during seasonal peaks
