Overview

Groundcare / Agricultural Service Engineer
Location: Shefford
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000

The Role

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of groundscare and agricultural equipment—including compact tractors, UTVs, ATVs, and grass care machinery
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to manufacturer standards
• Keeping accurate records and ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Supporting customers with machinery installations and demonstrations
• Working closely with service and workshop managers to meet deadlines
• Travelling to customer sites in the surrounding area for field-based service work (full driving licence required)

What I’m Looking For

• Qualified to Level 3 in Land-Based Engineering (or equivalent in HGV, Plant, or Construction)
• Experienced with groundscare and/or agricultural equipment
• A strong communicator, able to work with both customers and colleagues effectively
• Willing to undertake ongoing training, including specialist manufacturer training
• Reliable under pressure and capable of working to deadlines in variable conditions
• Flexible to work overtime during seasonal peaks
