A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Lead Grid & Primary Design Engineer to manage design aspects of Grid and Primary substation projects. You’ll ensure high-quality solutions and compliance with specifications, collaborating closely with various teams and managing project flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in primary substation design, strong electrical engineering knowledge, and experience with ETAP or DigSilent software. We are seeking an experienced Lead Grid & Primary Design Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough and work client-side on critical grid and primary substation projects. You’ll take ownership from initial concept and feasibility through to procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions for private networks.
