Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Grid Modernisation contractor relationship lead in the UK to drive growth and shape strategy across key accounts. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop client solutions, and anchor growth initiatives with energy sector clients and Tier 1 contractors.

You’ll collaborate with Strategy, Marketing and Communications to win work, mentor peers, and ensure delivery excellence while upholding AECOM’s values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in grid modernization or energy sector.
• Strong sales, business development and client management abilities.
• Proven track record in account growth and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering, energy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of significant new business opportunities and renewals.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Tier 1 contractors and clients.
• Collaborate across Strategy, Marketing and Communications to win work.
• Drive growth, ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Identify long-term trends and shape account strategy.
• Mentor team members and promote AECOM’s values.
