Overview

The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Security Analyst supports the Hospital’s security strategy by elevating risk assessment and policy management across Ontario health care organizations. The role applies enterprise risk management expertise to enhance the Hospital’s cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

The analyst recommends, develops and maintains security policies, performs risk assessments, and coordinates cybersecurity initiatives with senior GRC leadership. The role works on small to medium scale projects within a single organization and supports Ontario Health agreements for up to 40 health care sites.

Qualifications

• Community college diploma in Cybersecurity or Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, legal or business preferred
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, legal or business preferred
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience
• ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
• Governance Risk & Compliance (CGRC) certification preferred
• Outstanding communication (verbal and written) skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of Ontario health care digital systems (e.g., Health Information Systems) preferred
• Strong knowledge and experience applying privacy legislation preferred
• Experience with financial risk management preferred

Benefits

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Rate of Pay: $39.29 per hour to $49.12 per hour
