Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Executive Officer / Grants Case Manager to support the UK seafood industry from their Newcastle office. This role includes managing grant applications, liaising with stakeholders, and preparing various documentation. The candidate should have strong communication and analytical skills, experience in administration, and relevant qualifications such as GCSEs and A-Levels. This is a hybrid position offering a salary of £15.00 per hour, with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine correspondence and check the accuracy of documentation.
• Compile, verify and report data.
• Manage your caseload effectively, maintaining all systems accurately.
• Develop strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Attend meetings and represent the Grants Team at stakeholder events.

Skills

Ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet regulatory targets

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to understand and interpret complex legislation/regulations

Strong analytical skills with a business-focused approach

Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and Excel

Education

Five GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above)

Two A-Levels (Grade E or above) or equivalent

NVQ Level 3/4 in Management or relevant junior management experience
