A leading engineering company in Long Eaton seeks candidates for their Graduate Development Programme. This 2-year program offers valuable experience across various departments, fostering professional growth towards chartered engineer status. Responsibilities include supporting modernisation projects, developing designs, and providing technical support for train fleets. This is an opportunity to join a world-leading engineering company through a well-established 2-year Graduate Development Programme. You will work alongside experienced professionals and receive strong support, mentoring and coaching while developing against IMechE competencies, with the aim of achieving chartered or incorporated mechanical engineer status. The programme includes placements across multiple departments to build a broad understanding of the business. Placements are planned with your Line Manager and Mentor to support development and provide a varied, rewarding experience. After completing the scheme, you will move into a first Appointment role with staged responsibility, progressing from managing individual tasks to work packages and small projects. Ongoing on-the-job learning is supported by a modular development programme, helping you work towards a relevant professional qualification. We'll look to you for:
