An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy based in Sheffield. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with up to two years of industry experience looking to develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Role Overview
  • Assist in planning and conducting site investigations, including trial pits, boreholes, and soakaway testing
  • Prepare Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Intrusive Investigation reports
  • Support remediation strategies and verification reporting
  • Contribute to geotechnical assessments including foundation recommendations and slope stability analysis
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Up to 2 years’ experience in geo-environmental or geotechnical engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for site work)
