Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in estimating and proposals? We're seeking a motivated Graduate Estimator to join our specialist team working on bespoke, design-led projects in the premium interiors and building products sector.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in reading drawings, preparing cost estimates, coordinating proposals, and liaising with architects, suppliers, and clients. You'll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, organisation, and professionalism throughout the proposal and estimating process. Full training and mentoring will be provided to help you develop both technical and commercial skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review architectural drawings, door schedules, and specifications (with full training provided)
  • Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates, proposals, and breakdowns
  • Manage the proposal process from first enquiry through to submission, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Gather, verify, and input supplier quotes into pricing tools with accuracy and speed
  • Draft, format, and proofread professional proposal documents tailored to client requirements
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of quotes, projects, and client communications
  • Keep templates, proposals, and supporting materials organised and up to date
  • Collaborate closely with sales, suppliers, and internal project delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers
  • Respond promptly to queries and provide clear communication to clients and colleagues
  • Assist in identifying value-engineering opportunities under senior guidance to support project profitability
  • Contribute to process improvements, ensuring submissions meet both technical specifications and client expectations
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client and team interactions
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn CRM systems and specialist tools
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Enthusiasm to grow in a structured, supportive environment and develop professional expertise
