Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Water team across UK offices, with a hybrid working model. You will be exposed to all design stages for water infrastructure projects, engaging with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver from concept to construction.

You will contribute to electrical design, BIM workflows, and digital solutions while pursuing professional registration and benefiting from our ADVANCE graduate programme.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with ability to engage in all design stages from feasibility to construction design.
• Graduate engineer expected to contribute to electrical design for water/wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Production of power supply capacity assessments and load calculations.
• Production of electrical single line and cable block diagrams.
• Production of cable calculations and cable schedules.
• Production of lighting design specifications.
• Production of MCC/Control Panel specifications including ICA scopes.
• Production of electrical specification documents.
• Liaise with internal and external design teams, clients and contractors.
• Provision of timely reporting to the client and internal team lead.
• Work with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers to deliver projects from concept to detail.
