Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the Water team across the UK, delivering electrical design for wastewater and water infrastructure with a flexible hybrid working model.

You will contribute across all design stages, from feasibility through construction, collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers on projects for major water clients and tiers of contractors.

Qualifications

• MEng in Electrical Engineering preferred with 2:1 or above.
• Willing to work toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and technically proficient.
• Good report writing and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design across feasibility to construction design stages for water projects.
• Produce electrical single line diagrams, load calculations, and cable schedules.
• Develop MCC/Control Panel specifications and instrumentation scopes.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients and contractors; provide timely reports.
