Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Electrical Water Engineer to join our team in a role that develops skills across design, specification, and project coordination for water treatment assets. You will work with electrical design disciplines to specify equipment, controls, and layouts while collaborating with mechanical teams.

The role offers a structured graduate development programme, exposure to ICE/CIWEM pathways, and a flexible hybrid working model to balance field and office activity.

Qualifications

• MEng in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications such as IET & IMechE.
• Demonstrable interest in water projects.
• Ability to satisfy client and business expectations; consider wider financial implications of actions.
• Communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Production of cable calculations, cable schedules, and circuit schedules.
• Production of lighting designs.
• Production of MCC/ Control Panel details including ICA information.
• Production of electrical specification documents.
• Utilise Amtech, Dialux and Lighting Reality software design programmes.
• Liaise with internal and external design teams, clients and contractors as appropriate.
• Provision of timely reporting to both the client and internal team lead.
