Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Water teams in the UK. Based across Birmingham, Leeds, Chesterfield or Manchester with a flexible hybrid model, you’ll assist in electrical design for water and wastewater projects from feasibility to construction, under guidance from senior engineers.

You’ll study standards, produce diagrams and specs, liaise with multidisciplinary teams, and develop toward professional accreditation with support from our ADVANCE graduate programme and

Qualifications

• MEng in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above) preferred.
• Interest in water sector and willingness to pursue professional status.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical design for wastewater and water projects from feasibility to construction.
• Produce power supply capacity assessments, load calculations and diagrams.
• Develop MCC/Control Panel specifications and instrument scopes.
• Liaise with design teams, clients and contractors; provide timely reports.
