Job summary

AECOM is seeking Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our Water teams across our North and Midlands offices with a flexible hybrid working model. You’ll engage in all design stages from feasibility to construction for wastewater and water projects across major UK water clients.

You will support senior engineers in electrical design, produce power/loads calculations, diagrams, schedules, and MCC/Control Panel specs, while developing through our ADVANCE graduate programme and mentorship.

Qualifications

• MEng in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above) preferred.
• Relevant work experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in development and management of electrical design for water infrastructure projects.
• Produce power supply assessments, load calculations and single line diagrams.
• Prepare cable calculations, schedules and lighting design specifications.
• Create MCC/Control Panel specifications including ICA scopes and electrical documents.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams and provide timely project reporting.
