Job summary

AECOM's Water team in the UK is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate in Water to join our hybrid working environment. You'll work across potable and wastewater projects, supporting hydraulic modelling, design calculations, and feasibility studies under senior engineers.

You will gain exposure to design software, report writing, and site visits, while pursuing professional accreditation with ICE/CIWEM. AECOM offers graduate development, training, and a flexible benefits package.

Qualifications

BEng with 2:1 in Civil/Structural Engineering.
MEng in Civil, Structural or Water-related MSc is advantageous.
Water-related modules would be an advantage.
Willing to work towards ICE & CIWEM memberships.
Permanent right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Undertake numerical analyses for potable, surface and wastewater systems.
Conduct technical and feasibility studies of alternative solutions.
Produce designs of water infrastructure such as pump systems and pipe networks.
Create sketches, models, and final working drawings.
Stay up-to-date with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
Collaborate with team members on technical, site, and project management tasks.
Engage in site visits to understand implementation of designs.
