Job summary

AECOM is seeking Civil Engineering Graduates for the Water team based in the UK with a hybrid working model. You will gain hands-on experience in hydraulic modelling, water systems design, and professional development through graduate schemes.

Join a global firm delivering water projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and work with experienced engineers to develop skills in calculations, reporting and software tools while pursuing ICE/CIWEM qualifications.

Qualifications

Have a BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 or higher.
An MSc in Civil, Structural or Water Engineering would be advantageous.
Desire to pursue ICE and CIWEM professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

Undertake numerical analysis using computer-based programs for potable, surface and wastewater systems.
Conduct technical and feasibility studies on water infrastructure projects.
Produce designs for pump systems, pipe networks and associated attenuation.
Create sketches, models and refine final drawings for delivery.
Keep up to date with regulatory legislation affecting design work.
Collaborate with team members on technical work, site activity and project management.
Participate in site visits to understand field implementation of designs.
