Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate (Water) for multiple locations with a hybrid work model. You will join our Water team and contribute to the design and analysis of potable and wastewater systems while gaining exposure to global projects.

The programme requires a BEng (2:1) or an MSc/MEng in Civil, Structural or Water Engineering, with an interest in water projects, good report writing and basic Word/Excel skills, and a drive to pursue ICE or CIWEM professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in civil/structural/water engineering.
• Strong numerical analysis and report-writing abilities.
• Interest in water projects and readiness to pursue professional qualifications (ICE & CIWEM).

Responsibilities

• Undertake numerical analysis using computer-based tools for potable, surface and wastewater systems.
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies for alternate water solutions.
• Produce designs of water infrastructure such as pump systems and pipe networks with attenuation.
• Create sketches and final working drawings; support site work and project management.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory guidelines affecting design work.
