We're looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our progressive, award-winning Mechanical & Electrical Engineering team in our Cardiff office, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme, where you'll be delivering sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team which specialises in the delivery of building services, energy, and sustainability services. We offer a fresh approach by getting involved early, working collaboratively with the design team, guiding design development, and using our expertise to help clients make key decisions – an approach that always results in a building that delivers.

As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment. You will benefit from strong support from both office and technical colleagues, as well as significant guidance from senior staff within our open and collaborative culture.

Your role:
  1. Working on live projects from the start in a variety of sectors from healthcare to education
  2. Electrical services design and calculations using the latest computer modelling software Dialux, Relux, and Electrical OM
  3. Working with supervisors on scheme design concepts
  4. Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production; design coordination with other professional disciplines
  5. Producing detailed designs and drawings
  6. Input into or development of energy and sustainability strategy
  7. Participating in design team and client meetings
  8. Undertaking site visits or surveys
  9. Researching and implementing new technologies
  10. Continuous CPD and learning opportunities
  11. Your typical work might include designing and creating Electrical Circuits, Wiring, and Lighting
