A leading UK housebuilding company is seeking a Company Secretarial Graduate to support the governance of the business within a FTSE 100 team. This entry-level role offers training opportunities and responsibilities such as assisting with Board meeting preparations and maintaining key registers. Ideal candidates will hold a 2:1 degree in a relevant field and exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office. The company promotes flexible working practices and values diversity in the workplace.
The role of Company Secretarial Graduate will be working as part of the company secretarial team, which sits within the wider Taylor Wimpey legal team, to ensure the company, its directors and employees comply with applicable laws and regulations and maintains its high standards of corporate governance. The department acts as a point of communication between the board of directors, company shareholders, and senior leadership team, meaning the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders at all levels is key. This entry level role is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a broad remit of listed company secretarial work. Ahead of joining the company secretarial team full-time, the successful candidate will attend formalized training and induction sessions and complete a rotation within a Taylor Wimpey business unit. As part of the graduate program, the successful candidate will also complete rotations within other Head Office functions to develop a sound understanding of how Taylor Wimpey operates.
