Your key role will be to ensure disciplinary hearings, Council/Committee meetings, and governance processes run smoothly, professionally, and lawfully.

You're required to bring strong organisational ability, excellent written skills, and confidence working independently with senior stakeholders.

  • Support the independent Panel Chair with timetabling and case progression.

  • Manage arrangements for in-person, hybrid and online hearings, including venues, transcripts, recordings and breakout rooms.
  • Ensure hearing papers are prepared and circulated accurately and on time.
  • Publish hearing outcomes and ensure internal registers and records remain accurate.
Governance & Committee Support
  • Provide administrative and governance support to the Council, Committees and Senior Management Team.
  • Prepare agendas, papers and briefing packs in line with meeting timelines.
  • Attend meetings, draft minutes, track actions and ensure follow-up is completed.
  • Manage complex diaries and coordinate meetings, visits and events.
  • Draft responses to correspondence and assist with internal governance processes.
Data Protection & Information Governance
  • Coordinate responses to Subject Access Requests and information enquiries within statutory deadlines.
  • Support the maintenance of data protection policies and procedures.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience

Key Skills

  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Confident working autonomously and managing complex workloads.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive or pressured situations.
  • Sound judgement and discretion with confidential information.
  • Collaborative and able to work well with non-executives.

This is a very autonomous role and, whilst you'll have touchpoints with all areas of the organisation - internal and external stakeholders, you should be confident managing your own workload and have a flexible, team minded approach.
