Job description
Responsibilities
  • Administer golf bookings using computerised and manual systems, ensuring all customers are booked in correctly.
  • Administer the hire equipment and deposit system.
  • Record and administer the lost property system.
  • Ensure that all information displayed in the reception area is up to date and regularly restocked.
  • Sell shop stock in accordance with company procedures and upsell at every opportunity.
  • Assist with any general clerical duties as requested.
  • Attend Receptionist meetings and provide feedback on ways of improving and developing the service.
  • Provide feedback on any areas of concern or any Health and Safety issues to the Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience working as a receptionist.
  • Interest in golf.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills both in person and over the phone.
  • Motivation to serve the public and ability to deliver excellent customer care service.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proof of attainment of qualifications.
  • Evidence of right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if needed for the role.
