Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our team at The Club. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the Club's property, including equipment, furniture, and building structures, to ensure everything is in optimal condition and appearance. You will supervise a team of Maintenance Assistants and coordinate site repairs and general maintenance. You will oversee the servicing and repair of lighting, heating, plumbing, electrical systems, and other key areas, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are identified, scheduled, and completed in a timely manner. You'll manage maintenance records, handle emergency repairs, and maintain a clean, safe working environment for your team. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, from overseeing contractors to ensuring health and safety standards, will be key in maintaining the Club's standards. In addition, you'll take on Duty Manager shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing leadership when needed. Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary vocational training in electrical engineering, plumbing, HVAC or refrigeration desirable.
  • 1 year of maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting preferred.
Working Conditions
  • 7‑days a week business, operating between 0600 and 2300.
  • Shift patterns vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Evening availability for functions until 0200.
  • Uniform provided.
