GMP Engineering Technician

UK-Based | On-Site | 12 Month Contract to start with

Are you a hands-on engineering professional with a strong background in GMP manufacturing environments? We're looking for a GMP Engineering Technician for our client to support daily operations at a brand-new, cutting-edge biomanufacturing facility focused on next- vaccine and biologics production.

This is a contract opportunity to work at the forefront of scientific and technical innovation, supporting high-value projects, cutting-edge equipment, and global collaboration.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with critical GMP equipment (e.g., UF, chromatography systems, single-use mixers, fermenters, buffer prep vessels, etc.)
  • Provide real-time, shop-floor technical support to ensure equipment uptime and performance
  • Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues, implement robust CAPAs
  • Lead small-to-medium sized technical projects to improve system reliability and compliance
  • Support quality documentation: deviations, change controls, investigations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MS&T, QA, and Global Engineering
  • Contribute to tech transfer and new platform readiness activities
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or similar)
  • Experience in biopharma or GMP-regulated environments (NECESSARY)
  • Hands-on familiarity with bioprocess equipment and cleanroom operations
  • Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of systems and processes
  • Comfortable working 100% on-site in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
