Location: Leeds, LS9 West Yorkshire

Pay Rate: GBP95–GBP110 per day (dependent on payroll provider)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Learning Support Assistant (GLSA) to join our welcoming primary school in Leeds from January 2026. Responsibilities
  • Full‑time role supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience).
  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to deliver tailored learning support and interventions.
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • SEND experience is essential, with a good understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs.
  • A genuine enthusiasm and love for working with children, bringing warmth, energy, and positivity to everything you do.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a caring and proactive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
