Job summary

commercetools seeks a Senior Manager, Global BDR Function & Operations to lead and scale our Business Development Representative teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. You will partner with the CMO to align BDR with demand generation, playbooks, and enterprise pipeline targets.

You will own global metrics, drive multi‑channel outbound strategies, and collaborate with RevOps, People, and Marketing to optimize tooling adoption and career development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B SaaS Business Development.
• Proven track record leading distributed BDR/SDR orgs across AMER/EMEA/APAC.
• Demonstrated success partnering with Marketing Leadership (CMO/VPs) to convert demand into opportunities.
• Hands-on mastery of modern sales tech and funnel analytics.
• AI aptitude: curiosity for using AI tools to work smarter.

Responsibilities

• Lead global BDR function across regions reporting to CMO.
• Define and monitor SLAs with RevOps and Marketing; optimize funnel velocity and inbound strategies.
• Own global team metrics and provide data-driven reporting to executives.
• Manage regional BDR teams and retention strategies; enable clear career pathways.
• Design and maintain a single global BDR playbook for multi-channel outreach.
• Collaborate with People to support onboarding and certification milestones.
• Work with RevOps to optimize tool adoption and workflow efficiencies.
