A leading university institution in Kidlington seeks an Administrative Support Officer to assist the Head of Research and Impact Management. The role involves research support, grant management, and maintaining records. Candidates should have a solid understanding of research administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Serving the four University Museums, the Bodleian Libraries, and Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum, the Research and Impact team supports Oxford University Gardens, Libraries and Museums researchers to increase research and impact activity.
You will support the Head of Research and Impact Management and work closely with colleagues across GLAM to support and develop a varied portfolio of research related projects. You will provide pre‑ and post‑award support, including assisting with grant costings, application processes and post‑award set up. You will support local research committees, administer Collaborative Doctoral Awards, and help maintain accurate records of research activity and outcomes. You will also support public engagement with research, support internal funding schemes and training events, and assist with the development of new research initiatives across GLAM.
This is a full‑time, permanent post, working 37.5 hours per week.
