A lovely family based in Overton, Hampshire, is seeking a nurturing and experienced German-Speaking Nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old son. The ideal candidate will support the child’s language development and provide attentive and stimulating care.

• Live-in or out (accommodation would be an external property)
• Part-time but choose your hours
• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
• Previous experience in a similar role with toddlers
• Pet-friendly
• Willingness to travel with the family twice a year: 9th August to mid-October to Northumberland, and mid-March to mid-April to Ireland (Galway) next year

Responsibilities:

• Providing nurturing and attentive care for the 2.5-year-old boy
• Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities to support his development
• Introducing and practising the German language to help the child become accustomed
• Preparing snacks and meals for the child
• Assisting with the bedtime routine on weekdays
• Maintaining a clean and organised play area
• Taking the child on walks and outdoor activities
• Liaising with parents to ensure consistent care
• Light household duties related to the child
