About the Company Our client is a specialist geoenvironmental and geotechnical consultancy delivering high-quality technical solutions to support land development and regeneration projects across the UK. The Role An opportunity has arisen for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a growing team, supporting a wide range of contaminated land and ground investigation projects. This role is ideal for someone with solid site experience who is looking to strengthen their technical capability and progress within a specialist consultancy.

You will be involved in projects from initial site investigation through to reporting and regulatory liaison, working closely with senior engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Site Investigations
  • Soil and groundwater logging in accordance with current standards
  • Soil, groundwater, and gas sampling and monitoring
  • Supervision of ground investigation works and subcontractors
  • Preparation of factual and interpretative reports
  • Data interpretation and contaminated land risk assessments
  • Liaison with clients, contractors, and regulators
  • Supporting senior staff with project delivery and programme management
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality procedures
About You
  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a geoenvironmental / contaminated land role
  • Good understanding of site investigation techniques and reporting
  • Confident in ground logging, sampling, and monitoring
  • Familiarity with UK guidance (CLR11, BS5930, Eurocodes)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
